I do not get it either. I could have purchased a Harley when I was in the market for a bike last year but I would have had to get a stock Harley with more miles, less displacement and at least 4 - 5 years older than the 1500 Nomad I got.

hhhmmmmm twice the bike for half the price. That is what went through my mind as a deciding factor not to buy a HD. I think of harleys as art, I feel that way because they are great to look at but for me serve no useful purpose, Just like a painting on my wall.

After that I was down to the venture and the nomad. and well 1600 vs 1300. Duh. Although I LOVE the dash on a venture royal.

I would buy a harley for one thing only. A very large selection of performance parts to make a glittery go fast toy. A stop light burner for cruisin around town, by myself of course cause my wife would never ride one of those rattling things.
