Ha!! 50 miles per gallon... great horsepower... thick-skinned chrome and paint... over 100 custom parts... a 6th gear... a great review... a bit of heritage and cache...

I guess the only thing missing is you riding the thing!

...and I guess the only thing holding you back now is the fact the dealer is closed at the moment!!! ;)

Sorry, I will pull you back BD. The look of the thing does not do that much for me. I don't like the upturned pipes. In fact I prefer the straight back pipes and hard bags on the Nomad.

As to HP and torque. Eh, I rode a Suzi M109 the day that I took the Nomad for a ride. The 109 was nice, extremely smooth engine but it has the same issues that the Triumph does that I just mentioned. Power is not everything. I still love my Nomad.

Thanks for trying to help Bud. But the looks does a LOT for me! I love the look and as Greg points out the British cache. I owned Triumph cars years ago (not reliable but fun). I always wanted Triumph to do good in the motorcycle department and make a quality product and they have come a long way in making reliable long-lasting mounts!

One can have the large leather saddlebags, backrest and big clear fairing or have it stripped down to a lighter narrower bike in about 2 minutes. Nomads look like sh*t stripped down. thats always been a "slight" beef with me.

Trumph makes a very small little clear bubble fairing for the summer hot months.

I'm really afraid to test ride it!

Don't get me wrong, the Nomad's been good to me Bud. I just get the itch after 4 or 5 years for a new bike. I knew getting the Nomad after being away for so long from riding that is wasn't going to be my last bike. Time will tell. But the looks DO IT for me!
