Terrie & I would love to go but we are planning a week long trip to Fairmont Hot Springs, BC a month earlier. I just can't "pull the trigger" for a return trip within a month! Have a great time & we'll be there in spirit!

Then when we get closer I/we will need to be more certain and I will make that option unavailable. But I will do my best to make that known before I do that.
I can say that the rally will be in Alberta Canada, in the Banff/Kananaskis region, in July of 2012. Hopefully the 17th, 18th, 19th of the month. We may do less time consuming rides that will leave you time to do your own thing and to relax and perhaps take in a tour of some kind {maybe a helicopter tour !!!} A passport for those coming from out of country would be advised but there are options apparently available to U.S. citizens. Here is a link that could help and explain requirements.
http://gocanada.about.com/od/canadat..._travel_ID.htm

I will update and confirm dates and specifically where the rally will be held as the info becomes available.
If you think you might come {from out of country} don't leave your travel documents to the last moment. Get them now/soon. They are good for 10 years so you will probably use a passport sometime in that period for travel to somewhere anyway!!

Kris "netnorski" Olsen and I are both excited about hosting this event in this spectacular setting of Canada. I wish for a good response from any and all KawaNOW members. Ya'll come on up now,..hear? ;)
Once again our plans to attend the NW regional rally have been scuttled. This time, our UMCI (United Motorcycle Club, Int'l) group, of which I am the Idaho representative, is having it's international rally, at the same time the Nomad rally is scheduled for, so I am obliged to attend, of course. Puts me in sort of the same position as Kris. One of these time we will actually make it work. I hope.

Sorry to hear you won't be making it, but it sounds like a good time is still in your future...! I'm already getting stoked for the rally and it's still a long ways off.

I just got a sample Canadian Rockies Rally T-shirt from our vendor....and I must say.....they look AWESOME...! Rickyboy and I incorporated the new VBA logos and re-did the rally artwork. The resulting shirts are fantastic. I will be adding a link for the shirts to the rally website soon and will post a few pics of the shirt itself as well.

If you haven't already...check out all the rally info here...Canadian Rockies Rally. Hope to see you there!

Okay everyone....here is a sneak peak at the 2012 Canadian Rockies Rally shirts! I put a link on the main rally info page to direct order if you wish to pick one up. There are a few choices in style, color and size...prices will vary depending. Hope you like'em....! Obviously we are a couple light-years ahead of the SW bunch....they are still trying to figure out a place to shack up for their rally....!!

Although I am a proud XL guy...went to the doctors recently and was shocked to find I am ten lbs. heavier than my last visit..... I have dedicated myself to getting back on the treadmill and limiting my usual face-stuffing to more user-friendly levels..... I figure I have all winter and spring to work on it. By summer I hope to be styling in that rally t-shirt.....

Good luck Kris,
If the knee was better I'd be out there for sure.
I'm getting easier to jump over than walk around.
