I just got my 2012 Voyager with 17K on it .......I changed the oil last Saturday ...20w-50 Valvoline V-twin ......I wont be riding below 40 degrees so 20-50 will be what I use ...I use synthetic in all my vehicles .... Mainly Mobil 1 or Pennzoil Platinum....wait till u get 5k on it and switch....while modern engines can do synthetic from the start , I still like to wait till everything has worn it and smoothed out .

My dealer recommended synthetic at my 600 mile service. I've been running it in my 2010 Voyager every since. I only have 15000 miles so not many oil changes. I had Kawi 10/40 synthetic at the 600 mile change, tried Amsoil 20/50 for the second change and running Rotella T6 since about 10,000 miles. I plan to use Rotella T6 again but while in my local Wally World I saw some Quicksilver 20/50 motorcycle oil on the shelf. Has anyone used or heard of this oil? I think it's made by Mercury Marine.
