It was just as much a nail biter for me as it was for anyone I'd meet coming the other way. Even without the other traffic, it's puckers you up when your truck tires are hanging off one side of the road and your trailer tires are hanging off the other side.

Uh, I'm no professional truck driver, but if I was getting paid by the mile, it would be in my best interest to take a longer route. Taking shortcuts would mean taking a hit in the wallet.

So was I at first. But after I conquered it, it was really not that bad. You just have to concentrate on the riding and not the scenery.
