There are a couple of ice cream shops in the area. Matter of fact there's one at the intersection of Rt 97 and Rt 55. South bound it's about 4 or 5 miles before you get to the Hawk's Nest. For eats, I'll second the Chatterbox. However, I also recommend Arlene and Tom's diner in Port Jervis. Just follow the road signs for Rt 6. It's just past the Ford dealer and firehouse. If you go there, you might as well try the Meanie Burger. They're awesome.

What type of camera mounting device do you use or better yet what is your setup?
I have tried every mounting position I could think of yet I still get "up and down" vibrations when accelerating...
The cam I am using is from Epic and other than the vibes it seems to record good enough for me...

Its just a sansung 34X power but you don't want to us the zoom, I have mounted on a ram mount close to the triple tree to cut down on vibrations. I also have it on anti-shake.
