OK if price doesn't matter......Stein Erickson Lodge in Park City, UT (I think it was in the neighborhood of 300 bucks a night.) http://www.steinlodge.com/

Carvers in Sandy, UT is a little pricey but a NICE steak house.

A Marine and a truck driver can afford these places ???
Your wife must have a great paying job ;)

You can't beat a good steak, and I believe the best I've ever had came off of my own grill.
I like to hand rub Montreal seasoning into a nice sirloin and then grill, brushing on some Mesquite/garlic BBQ sauce right after I turn them. I like mine cooked medium (so they are still juicy) and then serve smothered with sauteed mushrooms, a baked potato, asparagus stalks sauteed in butter and a nice tossed salad.
Cheesecake and coffee for dessert and I am one well sated guy!

No I can't afford these places.

The stein erickson lodge was a honeymoon gift from my dad.

The carvers was an anniversary dinner.

I'm with AG. Best food comes off my own grill. Today my wife and I are planning a movie then stop at a grocery store to pick up some lobster tails. May even go for a fillet. Surf and Turf. Corn on the cob if I can find it and a good bottle of wine. Now we're talkin'.

Ahhh, you're killing me Sue! I seldom eat sugar at all (just fruit) but anything cheescake related and I am so weak. LOVE cheescake!
