I ordered mine online...and they have you put height/weight/inseam info into the order so they know how to buid it...or so they say. After I received it and found it had to modified....they said that their seats fit 90% of riders without modification.....which leads me to believe the seats they send out are more generic than not, and if you are one of those 10% that need some fine-tuning (like me)....well....get in line while you hurry up and wait.

A few of the custom seat makers do ride in service. That might be worth it.

I agree. It is an off the shelf seat no matter what they say. The only custom seats out there are Russell Day Long, the Mayer brothers and like builders.

I would think the Russell would be the cats ass, but some don't like the way they look. Who cares if you can ride all day without wanting to jump off the bike.

In hindsight I wish I had made an appointment, gone over to Kingston and had my seat done by Rich's Custom Seats....but you know, hindsight makes us all experts. Next time.....
