that is a shame. Let's do some digging and see how we can get that site back up and running. If it's a matter of money, I'll be happy to pitch in.

If he has a back up of the site on his pc it will be super easy to restore. I got the free host offer for him if its something he wants. But if the other guys are doing it he may not want more than one site up with the info

I guess you guys didn't see where I wrote that he has given the rights to the info and site to someone else...he isn't interested in anyone else hosting.

I assumed that people would understand that he gave all of the site files to someone who was going to host it...

I got that part. When you said that he gave away the rights that means any rights that he has to his works. I'm sure he didn't do that.

He told me on the phone that he gave away the rights...I asked about getting a copy of the info and he said to look for the new page.

Glad to hear that it will be back up soon. Back in my Yamaha XJ days, copies,of files,like,this were available on three CDs. Maybe, once the issues are resolved, the material could also be available in that format.

In my V-Star days, there was a website like Gadget's and when hosting became an issue, the files were posted in Google Doc format.

Just thought I would share some other ideas to use in conjunction with a new host.
