And just what do you consider cold?

Our daily high temp has been mid 40's this week.
CJ lives in Arizona, what do you think he considers cold?
70 degrees would be my guess. He just likes to bust on us guys who have to put the bikes up for winter. It's all in fun
Cliff, you can ride in the heat and humidity but it sure ain't much fun. Ask the guys who were at Mesquite ;) I don't ride here in the summer if the humidity is unbearable. I imagine it is much worse where you are
Takin' a ride today as it is supposed to get up to the lower 60's. Not putting the bike up yet

+1 Al: I can ride probably 90% of the days in the yr including winter. Only rainy days and days 32 or lower do I leave her home and drive my Tahoe.

I think when I posted that message, the little weather banner said 69 degrees :-/ .

I'm not a native Arizonan, I came from a colder climate so I can handle cold better than a lot of people here who start wearing jackets when it's 70 degrees out. The weather gal in the morning gives the daily forecast "okay, it's 72 degrees out, don't forget to send your kids to school in a jacket or sweatshirt".

I just like bustin' chops a little when I'm grilling steak on my patio in shorts while you northerners are huddled up in front of a fireplace. You can laugh at me when I'm riding in 115 degree heat. It's all in good fun.

Yes it was hot in Mesquite, but it was a "DRY" heat as they say. 118 degrees & about 10% humidity. The Beer & Margaritas were icy cold.

I covered mine a couple of times , then the temp. would go back in the 70s the next day and i would ride. I think its only been too cold to ride once. Gotta love central Florida.

We need to get you a cat for Christmas!
We went thru 12 cats one year. The coyotes, owls and hawks were having a feast. Told the wife "no more". I can't afford to feed the wildlife. Rat poison is cheaper but not totally effective.

Tell you how effective the hawks are. We had countless rabbits around the house. Each spring I would shoot 20-30 just so I could have a garden. Well this year, a hawk showed up for a couple of weeks, I can chase up two rabbits now.

Hey, I grill when its -20. Just throw the jacket on. And nothing better (other than riding) than cuddling up in front of the fireplace with a good drink and the lovely wife next to you complaining she's cold.

I'm in MN too and I store my bikes in a shed with a wooden floor. I bought breathable covers for the bikes and put them on loosely. Never had any problems with moisture but this shed is not like a garage where the door is open and shut all the time or a car is running, etc.
