Picked up my new speedo cable yesterday...... installed it today. Took a whole 15 minutes..... works perfectly!!!!!

I'm becoming a Master Mechanic! :-*

Help CME!

Go figure this..........

Rode about 80 miles today....... after installing the new speedo cable.... cruising 70 mph on the freeway I was passing most traffic.....
It usually reads 75+ for me to be passing most traffic......
could a new speedo cable change anything??

Remember it's a '99 1500 which reads off the front wheel....


Maybe it's my imagination.. we'll see tomorrow when I meet up with JJ, Dave, TomK, et al.....

Nico, did you change front tires recently? A tire with tread will read slower than a bald one, because the bald one is spinning faster.
