So let me get this right. They're holding your deposit and bank check for the balance. They are also holding a deposit from someone else pending a loan.

Methinks they got a better offer from someone else. If so, they're dickheads and if they come back to you for the sale you should reduce your offer 10%.

Get that bank check back now!

That's BS. They have cash in hand from you and they're waiting on this other bum to get financed? I'd tell them to take a hike and go buy a Harley.

I don't have patience for these guys. I'm not sure if it was an honest clerical error, or a hussle to keep me from trying to talk them down on price. Either way, I had my bank void the check and have my deposit refunded, which they did yesterday. I don't even want to know what they are up to.

On the bright side, I found another great bike, one I liked better but was spendier. Well, after a talk on the phone, and me offering cash, I talked this right out of a Harley dealer for the same price I agreed to on the other one. I'm ecstatic.
