What brand and what the price was? It is a reckless cycles fairing. Don't remember the exact price, but less that $400 Any idea if the fairing painting can be done DIY or it must be in the shop? It can be done DIY, but I was having the whole bike repainted, so just had the shop do it.Sorry for so many questions at once. I just like it so much I will most likely do that, too... Thanks.
I bought the fairing then built my own stereo system to go in it, as well as the quick connect for the power. I can pop it off for around town with four bolts and the quick connect.

Yep, my hands are just below the top of the fairing. Rode the other day in 42 degree weather and still blocked the wind just fine. The bottom pic in my first post shows a good pic from the front.

Jared, the top line was +6. The other two were stock length.

Do you know what the stock length is? The reason I ask is I am wondering if stock length from another bike would work. I see extended cables, listed for sport bikes with extended swing arms on ebay all the time for cheap. Wonder if they would be long enough? I can check next time I go to the shop. I should have the stock one out there. I would just be concerned about the correct fitting/bolt size.

For less than $30, it might be worth trying. It would only take a second (and no fluid) to see if they'd work. If the bolt size is wrong, repackage them and sell them on eBay for a buck less than what you paid. You'll lose a dollar (plus shipping) but gain valuable knowledge. (Or something lofty like that.) If it DOES work, you'll save, what? $50 bucks? I think Jared volunteered to be the guinea pig.

You may be able to have some lines made up locally. I had a pair of 14" SS braided lines made for $40.00 a couple months ago. Some of the tuner car performance shops should be able to point you in the right direction.

Jared, looks like I tossed out the old lines so looks like I won't be able to get that measurement.

ringadingh, I tried a few local shops, but no one seemed to be interested. I live out in the sticks and no real speed shops around. Jared's idea might be a good alternative
