The world ain't big enough for a DAVE MAC I don't think....

Don't run up over 8 amps on the 10 amps ACC circuit either......

Now i gotta go find a mullien plant to smoke......

I didn't think he was going to actually use the lighter. Only to hook the GPS and things like that.

Well, I don't know what all guys will run on their bikes. many of these guyus run things i wouldn't want in the first place. So I just try to be in general sometimes.

One example of a item I wouldn't want is cruise controll, because I couldn't use it in the mountians of NH. To try that trick would kill me. I ride interstate so seldom, that it is a frightening thing to do for me, but yet is normal for almost everyone else.

It takes me 1 hour to get to any interstate, which means I am going someplace I don't really want to go. Just having a throttle lock works plenty good for my area.

Where can you find a switched source? I'm wanting to install a sound system and would like to not have a power switch in i don't have to.

For a stereo, I'd create a switched source with a relay triggered by the running lamp circuit and powered by a direct connection to the battery. I wouldn't connect the stereo directly to the headlight, running lamps, or any other existing circuit on the bike.
