On The Way Home

Wow two tires cost what my whole clutch did. But you got to love all the added taxes you pay up there. Yep the economy is alive and well up there.

Ps in Millbrook, New York tonight

Arrived home at 1600h, the ride was very windy and gusty. it made for a bit of a workout but I still made good time. Total kilometers for the trip 3977 ( 2478miles ). I spent a total of $201.35 on gas, ( .05cents per kilometer ). Not bad for this old girl, my 99 Nomad can still cruise with the best of them.
Hope all has made it home safe, and that everyone enjoyed the ride as I did. It was a lot of fun seeing old friends, and making new ones. I enjoyed attending the rally with each and every one of you, thanks.
For the ladies who attended, just want you to know I found a jewelry store. Purchased that bracelet, and she loved it.

Glade to hear you got home safe Pete. Will tell Gerry and Cheryl you got that bracelet for your wife. Did you tell her you came home with extra shorts yet?

She had a good laugh. I think she was more interested in the bracelet, like how do you open it.

That is one nice ride Don. I'm glad you took the extra week and stretched it out. Gotta love the long road trips for sure.

Glade to hear you are home Don, you guys sure made a trip out of it. 3288 miles, how many corners?, following bud most of the rally made me dizzy. From behind, His trike really looks like it shouldn't make it around the corners so fast but it does!

No idea but my head didn't stop spinning until we got into western Ohio from going around so many.

PS None of those miles were on any Interstate roads a few US Routes but not very many divided highway sections. We were in the clouds going over the Appellation Mountain ridge at 2440 feet above sea level
