Went to the stealership today to drop off my bike and the wife followed me there. I took the bike around back to the service area while she and my youngest son were in the showroom. I got in the showroom to show her the blue and silver and she said "is that the one they are moving out the front door?" I said yes. Some guy bought it for under $8K out the door...5400 miles on it and in showroom condition. I went over and shook his hand and told him he got himself a fine deal. Blue Book was $8500.

Heading to Miami for son's wedding. Getting married on a cruise ship. No computer until Monday. Have a great weekend. Now LESS THAN 2 weeks and counting.

OK boys and girls.....13 days and counting (for me anyway, I'm cheatin' and leaving early...even havin' a little mini-get-together in Greensboro on the 17th before the ride up on the 18th with kawgirl.....new front rubber...got about 3000+ left before an oil change is needed...got my rally shirts...got my kawanow shirts......

I'm ready to go too. I may need to change the oil before I leave. Been doing some riding. Trunk is at the painter and should get it back later today or tomorrow. Woo hoo. Risers will hopefully be in stock soon at Scootworks so I can swap mine out. The countdown for that is right up to rally time. We'll see.

Still waiting on my trunk and rack to get finished. The teacher got PO'd at the kids and wouldn't let them in the booth at school they are doing it at home...so it will not be as nice. I just want it before the rally.

should be able to color sand and buff out the majority of any trash they might get in it.....then a good wax job.

It's getting closer!!!!! My new tires are scruffed, the oil is changed-just a little more countdown.

Think I'll go to the weather channel web site and see what the predicted weather outlook for that week in Elkins area is.

Their weather sure is milder than ours right now. Whew, it's hot here. I hope the pattern of temps remains as it has been for Elkins. High of like 88.

It was 88 here at about 10:30 this morning. We got 100 miles in by 11:30 and called it a day. I know it will be smoking hot on our way up, but I sure do hope it isn't that bad when we get there.
