Lookin' good! Good to know this mod works with the 2000 also. They're have been a few members who asked if it would work with the 1500 but to my knowledge nobody has tried it yet.

For the bearing, it will take a 52-20-15 mm which just happens to be the same bearing that is used on a lot of the 1500 rear wheels.

That will allow the HD wheel to ride on the 1500 20mm axle.

After that it should be a similar process with the spacers and brake caliper mounts.

I've seen a 1500 Nomad with an Air Stike wheel...

Is that an OEM Airstrike or a Konig Airstrike? Maybe they are one and the same? Looks good either way.

Educate me...whats the Airstrike wheel? The picture shows 1500 with a 2010 Street Glide Wheel. Is the Airstrike the one where you need to buy an adapter kit to install the wheel?

There we go! That's what we needed to know! Leave it to MAS Tequila to come up with these nuggets.

Air strikes is the name if the HD Street Glide wheel. I'm going to guess that shims were used for the 1500. I have also seen the VN900 with front and rear HD wheels.

I like it with the stock fender, but I do really like that style of fender.

With the 1500 how do you get past the brake disc being 280mm vs the HD 300mm?

I haven't went there yet but assumed (at least with the Vulcan 2000) most of the HD wheels would be to narrow. I need to look into other models.

I'm
What bike is the Blue/White front fender off of? Is it OEM? I like it better than the 1600 OEM I'm running.
