Not much chance of that happening. It's been snowing again since yesterday morning and another 10-15cm on the way for tomorrow.
Id mount a snow tire on the bike just to piss them off.

Great plan Steve, I do have a snowmobile ski or 2 kicking around that I could use on the front, or do you think the combination might wobble at high speed.

It would probably wobble, actually Honda had a kit available in the 70's to convert a 750-4 into a snowmobile, with a track and ski conversion. I bet it worked liked crap.

I bet you it did two. The AD Bovin company builds a bike style snowmobile 800cc, and conversion kits for dirt bikes that seem to go pretty good.

That looks a lot better the the ones built for the Hondas. At least they are using a light dirt bike with some suspension travel. I think Id still prefer a real snow machine.

Guy, Headed up north with 3 sleds this weekend, but I never trust the lakes till after Christmas, so the trip is really just to get them out of the shop and make some room here.

Donnie, Yea they seem like a blast, especially if you have a little dirt bike riding in your past. Still no match for the thrill of a fast sled though. Two completely different riding styles.

Your doing what in your dreams Elvis?

---

Riding the Nomad in the cool rising mists of Vancouver mornings, cruising over the bridges into the Fraser Valley, heading into Washington State, smelling the ocean, drinking coffee and riding back home seeing the downtown skyline with the North Shore Mountains in the background while the Sun's setting over Vancouver Island.

Nice, my dreams seem to be more focused on doing snow removal all the time. Oh wait a minute that's what I am really doing, the lines between reality and subconscious seem to be a little blurred at the moment.

Norm, back in the 80 s when we had tons of snow, I used to snowmobile also...had a 440 Everest...wide track, went all over & a gr8 hill climber. We rode trails past Buckingham, & behind Poltimore, St-Pierre de Walkfield...at the time my brother in law opened & groomed trails in a Ski-dozer...man that thing was strong....I sold it as our winters had less snow.
I<m sure you heard of La cote du diable? Rode up to that spot....
Had some gr8 trails in that area...I can<t get over today’s sleds...fuel injections...over 100 hp...& no more 2 strokes... :)

Anyway enjoy buddy, it is a gr8 sport!
Be safe!

Cheers
Now I wait for spring time to ride...
