Highway bar compatibility?

Does anyone know if the 1600 Classic and 1600 Nomad will take the same bars? I'm finding lots of options for the Classic, but very little for the Nomad. My Nomad is an 08 1600. Thanks

My thoughts are the aftermarket crash bars for the 1600 Classic and the 1600 Nomad would be identical.
You wont see crash bars advertised for the Nomad as they came standard on the Nomad so aftermarket manufacturers are not going to make them for the Nomad

Ok thank you. Wasn't sure if the frames were identical on the two. The Nomad has the threaded mounts built right into the frame. Being that the Classic didn't come with them standard, I wasn't sure if the Classic frame had them or not. If it didn't, I figured the aftermarket companies might have designed them differently as they would have to mount them another way.

As i recall, on the 1500's. The Nomad has 2 lugs on the top, front of the frame, just above, and either side of the radiator. I don't think the Classic has them ?. And the rear upper frame, that holds the mudguard on, has fixings for the bag brackets. ( Which in turn, fit the bottom of the crashbars )..These fixing holes, dont line up on the Classic. Whether the 1600 is the same, i have no idea.

The classic and nomad do not take the same crash bars. I have one of each in my garage. The Nomad bolts up on at the top of the frame near the neck, but the classic does not have the bolt holes at that location of the frame.

I had a Nomad, and know that to be right It would be easy enough, to weld a couple of lugs on the top of the frame, and drill 14mm holes though. The bottom fixings, are the same. If they aint. Drill some holes., and tap some threads to suit.
