can’t change time or any settings on dash

I have a 2012 voyager, the recall for wires under the tank has been done. I can’t change any of the settings on info screen and cruise control doesn’t work. The five amp fuse for the cruise control must also give power to the info screen also? There is only power to one side of the five amp fuse and if I put a new fuse in it pops as soon as I turn the key on.that is with the cruise control button off. Has anyone heard of a problem with the wire from the cruise control button down to the faring?

They share the same fuse, so yes you won’t be able to adjust the settings. Have you taken off the switches to make sure water isn’t in any of them shorting them out? There are several switches.

Also, I’m in Brodheadsville (Poconos) not far from the West End Fairgrounds. I have a 2012 Black/Grey ABS Voyager.

If the new fuse blows immediately, there is a short to ground on a wire that is fed from that fuse. If you trace the wire(s) from that fuse by hand, my guess is that you will find one of the wires chaffed and rubbing the frame or something that obvious.

The owners/service Manual is a must have. I bought one 2 days after I bought my bike.

Check the wire connector in the headlight bucket. My Nomad did the same thing and it was just the main plug in not connected tightly. Yours could possibly be the same problem. Hope you find it quickly!
