2018 Voyager?

Kawasaki has their 2018 line up on line but i don't see the voyager for 2018. Do you think they are retooling it for 2019 and coming out with an all new model to compete with the new Yamaha star venture and the Indian road master?

No, I don't think so. They won't be build anymore. The stopped in germany with the 2016 model. You have been lucky in the US with a 2017 model. Too much restrictions (emissions, on-board diagnosis mandatory) over here and and too low selling numbers here and in the US - compared to Indian and H-D. Don't know if they will bring a big cruiser again, but at the moment here in germany, the only NEW cruiser bikes are H-D and Indian. Even the new Yamaha is not sold here.

Sooo sad . . .

So, if I have too replace or want, looks like, that the next bike would be an Indian Roadmaster.

Sven

What website are you looking at? Kawasaki.com has 2018 H2R and some 2018 off-road bikes but everything else is still 2017 models.
Discussion on various internet forums has been predicting the elimination of the entire Vulcan lineup (except the 650S), and as mentioned the 1700 has already disappeared from all markets except USA and Canada.

I know this is shocking news but I think the new Voyager looks very much like the 2017 voyager. Course maybe I'm just not looking hard enough for the changes.

went to a demo days at an Indian dealer last week. (Come eat our food and ride our bikes, I think I will ) Had about a dozen different bikes. If you have never driven a 111ci Indian do yourself a favor and do so. Unbelievable torque. The Roadmaster was my favorite. Power windshield, gps, heated seats & grips, remote locking bags, speed compensated volume on radio, keyless push button start. I am not going to be dropping 30k on a bike anytime soon though.

Go visit an Indian forum for a few days. After a couple of years the gremlins are starting to show up.

It is a different color than 2017, so I guess it is still available in Italy for 2018. hopefully North America as well.

Yamaha is introducing a new bike on Wednesday into the luxury motorcycle category.

"We were thrilled to introduce a new transcontinental touring model earlier this year with the unveiling of the Star Venture, and we are looking forward to the exciting introduction of another new model in this luxury motorcycle segment,” said Derek Brooks, Yamaha’s Motorcycle Product Line manager".

Same color scheme as a 2015. I think someone relabeled a old video.

Good catch, Plumber. The 900 beside it is also a 2015 color.

Looks like an awful lot of motorcycles with ABS on that list.

I don't keep track of the other manufactures (shoot I really don't keep track of much except the Voyager) is there an industry move to all ABS or something?

Now I like my ABS - Wouldn't have it any other way.

I just wish Kawasaki would loose the formula for their Black Paint. Color - I like Color, Kawasaki must think they want to be Harley of 10 years ago where the only color option was black. How many Voyagers would they sell if they offered the Green on Green like that old 99 Nomad.
