Ok yall question for ya
Here us the issue bought a cheepo trunk for my vn1500n. Forgot i needed the lugage rack.so i bought one. I relocated the licence plate but damn i hate how high the trunk sets. Id post pics but the bikes in storage in wis atm. I just dont like how high and far back it sets any ider how to move it.

Is your trunk box mounted on you stock luggage rack? If so, consider a Wompus rack. We'll worth the money. That's what I have on my 02 Nomad, with one of those low budget trunk boxes that I painted to match. Be careful about the weight on the lid/rack though..

I built my own wompus style rack. If you have ANY fab skills you should be able to pull it off.

Either buy or make a bracket, get the trunk mounted lower. It will effect the handling when the trunk is loaded up if it is mounted high.
