vance and hines twin slash round slip ons

I had some v&h twin slash fitted to my vaquero last week. ive done a few ks on them and they sound good but it sounds like my tappets/lifters are louder and theres a buffeting noise around 60ks an hour. is this normal ??

I cant see why slip on mufflers would make the changes you describe.

Are you sure you are just not listening more intently to the sound of the bike since the muffler install ?

that had crossed my mind to mate. im going to compare it to a nomad in the local bike shop today to see.
