Hi Caveman, welcome to the group. Where did you find these for $28.00? I have been looking on the different sites, and all that I have found are over $10.00 each...

Thank you!
Here's an eBay link to a seller here in Vegas, though there's only one set left at the time of this posting: http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-x-NGK-Irid...a47460&vxp=mtr If you miss out on these, here's a set for $29.95 in California: http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-X-New-NGK-...e7cbc7&vxp=mtr

I bought a set yesterday at Advance Auto. $28-. Amazing difference. It has had ping all along with 91 octane if you get on the throttle, and recently even with 93. Switched these and went for short ride. No ping, more power, sounded better too. Best $28- ever spent.

last friday i bought a set of these plugs after seeing this post, Went on about a 500 mile ride over the weekend and this is what i experienced. I got 43 mpg , the throttle repones was clearly better and the weather was hot and humid as hell but i still couldnt make it ping when i got on it. I ran 87 octane everytime and normally when the weather gets like that the bike would ping if i got on it hard. Dont know if this typical or just a fluke thing but so far it was worth the 28 bucks!

Switched over to NGK Iridium plugs and there's a noticeable a difference.
Easier starting, better throttle response and no ping when rolling on in the higher gears. Well worth the money IMO.

Just bought a set and looking forward to seeing if there is any improvement in performance.
Proper gap?

I ordered these a couple weeks ago. Along with an oil filter and some oil. Shipping was really fast.

I just threw some iridiums in my bike because of this thread. i also cleaned my throttle bodies at the same time. so, it's hard to tell exactly what made my throttle response smoother, but it is. I'm sure it's a combination of the two but it's a very noticeable difference.

I'm happy to see that everyone is having success with the plugs. I've seen quite a few people talking about cleaning the throttle body so that'll be next on my list. My fuel economy is still averaging 32.5, so I'm sure there's more I can do to improve that.... although the right hand is definitely a culprit.

I'm jumping on the wagon, ordered mine yesterday and should have them by Friday. It's as hot as the sun here in Texas and I have been having some pinging issues on the ride home from work late afternoon when the temp's at it's hottest which is right about 100 so will give them a try. I have the standard copper so also going to a cooler plug should help the cause too. We shall see.
