I too was disappointed with how low the KQR backrest is positioned. Have you guys checked these out? http://www.thundermfg.com/store/inde...t_detail&p=516 I installed the 4 inchers on my Vaquero and they work wonderfully. They put the backrest pad right above the lumbar. Ladies love it.
