Traded Voyager for Concours.

I really enjoyed the Voyager but never got comfortable due to the weight. Most of my bikes over the years have been sport tourers and I thought due to age that it was time to get a little more comfortable. Once the Voyager was moving, it was a great machine, but at low speed maneuvers and stops it was always a hand full, I am almost 69 and have some joint problems. I had even posted some questions about possible going to an insta-trike due to these issues and one of the forum members said " I don't know why people don't get something a little lighter, well he was right. I am loving the Concours, it does not have the creature conforts of the Voyager, but boy is it fun to ride, have to keep an eye on the speedo. I want to thank every on the forum for all the great info-have fun and ride safe.
PS- I do have a small light tint cee-bailey screen and also a medium Clear view shield if anyone is interested. $30 for ceebailey and $50 for clear view, both excellent condition.

Congratulations on your new Concours. I'll be 66 soon and know what you mean about heavy bikes but I love the "creature comforts" they offer.

When you can, post some pictures of your new Concours.

That price did not include shipping, but if you are interested in both, I will take $75 and pay shipping. If interested please send me PM so that I don't miss it. Thanks

HUGE fan of the Connie. Had many good times on mine. Massive storage, great range, and pulls like a freight train right thru 140...at least i heard...

Just curious, what changes if any did you make to yours? I have to tell you that I am really loving this bike, should have done it sooner.

Would love to go to a C14. But riding 2 up 95% of the time I'm mot sure if it would be a comfortable choice. I would like to be wrong though!

I thought mine was pretty comfortable, but unless you put risers on it, it has a fairly aggressive riding position. By buddies called it a crotch-bagger. There isn't any music. It is tall, but can be lowered. Riding 2-up, the passenger sits pretty high and can catch some wind. Like most bikes, it can be set up to your personal taste, but keep in mind it is a lean forward (a bit), feet under you riding position, and not for everyone. The same can be said for the Beemer RT's though, and they are some of the best touring bikes ever.
