I have a Mustang seat and on the long rides I use the air hawk and I wouldn't go without it, half the battle is finding the right amount of air. to much or to little and my back and butt would hurt but now after a little messing around its nothing to go none stop between fill ups with no pain other then my passenger squawking

Just did a 400 mile day on my airhawk. I don't think I could find better comfort on any other seat. They are great. Like stated previously dont put too much air in it.

Ok, got the Air Hawk and have got to test it only 2x now for about 30 mile each.
I'd say it makes a huge difference in your cheeks and tailbone. I'm not getting the burn I did get very quickly. The true test will be this upcoming weekend with a 6 hour drive ahead. It does take some getting used to though. This thing between me and the seat feels awkward at first, sits you up higher and kind of changes all your footpeg settings. I'm playing with the air adjustments now and it does feel like the best is with just a small amount of air in the unit. We'll see and keep you updated. HC Login or Register to Remove Ads |

I know your not in Canada, but the best seat pad I have used, and still do use, is a $9.95 (on sale) gel like car seat pad from Canadian Tire, I did a 12 hour ride with that in very hot weather and it was great. I have tried propads, sheepskin, air seat, and always go back to the car seat pad.
