Both drivers were killed.

Since then, there have been two more collisions and 4 more deaths, the most recent one this morning in which a young couple were killed by a 67 year old woman driving a pickup truck. The engine from one of the vehicles was found 75 feet from the wreckage.

We have some insane drivers, but this is very unusual, even for here. All 3 collisions happened between 1:00 and 4:00 AM.
We have had some similar issues (wrong way crashes) here in the last year. All occurring in those early morning hours between 1 and 4. Tragic stuff.

If you did that here be prepared to shoot or fight. Rednecks are packing.
Isn't Larry Bird from Indiana?

I've been riding since I was 18 and I'm now 59. I've hopped off my bike to go after someone probably 4 or 5 times in that length of riding. When my wife's safety comes in to play I really don't care if the person has a gun or not. They better be ready to use it and go to jail for using it if they choose that path.

I come from a family of cops and business owners. I've owned my own business and it's pretty easy to get a concealed carry permit here if you make deposits for your business or if your father is a cop and sends you to see so and so. I have no reason to carry and won't get a permit. I've had one in the past and don't need it. I was an EMT in Boston when I was in my early 20's and have seen first hand what weapons can do in the wrong hands.

Been all around the planet...usually for reasons that draw a -"independent minded crowd"..
there are plenty of 'sleeper's" out there...I'm 'diplomatic" in all cases..if possible !

To old to run..to crippled to fight..to experienced to "just jump-in".... I keep smiling, and I carry !
