The common brake lines puff up each time they are used and ss lines don't nearly as much, which gets more psi in the which ever systems these are on.
You don't by any chance have the Barnett Clutch Spring installed ? I would love to know how that feels with a ss braided line too........

I dealt with cycle brakes when I got my new brake and clutch lines. Had a very knowledgeable contact person to actually talk to and they went thru the order details piece by piece to make sure I was getting exactly what I needed. They are a Galfer dealer.

I didn't get a clutch line at the time though, and sort of wish I had. I've not had a close look... maybe my free rear brake line will fit? My existing clutch line fits well with my risers, so I'm not sure that you really needed 2" over-length on that. It was only my upper brake line that was too short... I re-routed my OEM hose behind the triple tree and it was still stretched very tight before I replaced it. 2" over with your clutch line won't hurt anything though I guess, and at least you can be safe in the certain knowledge it'll fit?

I have the same problem with my upper brake line so the 2" extension will be nice. My clutch length is fine but I figured what the heck, might as well make it match the brake side. I figured the rear brake would not need any extension, so I just ordered the stand length on it. How did you like the feel of it compared to stock lines?

And that's without (yet) bleeding them out properly too... Not something I'm very good at - bleeding brakes. If the bike sits a week or so, first pull of the brakes feels a little spongy. At least I didn't spill any on the paint I guess.

My front brake is 2 lines coming off the banjo bolt at the master cylinder, and one line goes to the left caliper, and one to the right. Mine doesn't have a splitter.

Just swapped out my brake and clutch lines for Barnett and Galfer from PhatPerformanceParts.com and it was a 3 part line. Opted for the brighter platinum lines. Came with new bolts and new washers. Installed flawless, perfect fit.

I have seen that set up, but it isn't stock. You did it or someone before you did. it didn't come stock like that.

No Mac, I did it, that was the set-up I got when I switched to the braided SS lines.
