vaquero fairing storage doors

I just picked up my 2012 vaquero and while checking it out I opened the 2 storage compartments on the fairing and the 1st thing I noticed is the doors are hinged by a piece of crimped plastic that will certainly wear out and break over time...does this concern anyone else and if its
Already happened is there a fix?

Haven't had an issue yet, nor heard of anyone else having an issue. That said, I don't use them every day.

Yeah, there ain't a whole lot of anything that will fit in there so I don't think they'll ever get enough use, at least on mine, to worry about it.

I have iPod in left and wallet in right. No issues yet. Sage brush tank bib will eliminate wallet if I get around to installing.
