Project 52-- Photography Challenge

Are there any photographers or photo hobbyist who would be interested in doing a 52 week photography challenge?

In an effort to continue to challenge myself with photography, I am doing a 52 week photography challenge called "Project 52." The idea behind the project is to take and publish one photo per week throughout the year. There are no specific themes or specific requirements. I'll just continue to shoot, edit and practice doing what I enjoy. Over the year I hope too see an improvement in my skill level. Feel free to follow my "Project 52" by visiting the blog regularly. http://jmgantphotography.blogspot.com/p/project-52.html

If there are any others who would be interested in doing this, we could start a specific thread for the weekly photo. If not, I'll just continue posting on my blog.

That sounds like an interesting project.

I love taking photos
so will they be raw photos with crop only, or however you want to post?

I'm not that great at taking pics, once in a while I do manage a decent one, but not that often.

I tried this on another forum. I was pretty much the only one to post photos
I don't think it should be a challenge,so much as just a place to post photos and talk photography

I used to take some good scenery shots with an old Canon AE1 in 35mm, but all I ever had in digital were point & shoots. Even though they were good ones & weatherproof,...yadayada, they just weren't the same. So my wife finally gave me a reasonably decent SLR for Christmas & I'm looking forward to using it. This would be a good excuse to get out & seek some shots.

I get up on photography forums quite a bit and this is a regular event. This being a motorcycle forum, I didn't expect there to be a huge amount of participation. If I become the only one posting pictures, I'll probably just post them on my blog and call it good. These don't have to be professional pictures. They can be anything. A weekly instagram so-to-speak.

From my pond and an Ice storm we had a few years ago. Taken with a Fuji S9000 Digital 9mp.... had it about 10 or 12 years but takes great pics.
Just about everyone I know has a camera now, just a matter of what interests them as to what they capture.

Your choice. Do whatever you want! No specifics.

That bull frog sitting on the lily is a great shot. All of them really. Do you still take pictures on a regular bases?
