One of my buddies has a Road Glide, nobody in our informal riding group had an Ultra.

I see. I suppose you liked both of them equally.

I think I'll come to a point where I might have to flip the coin myself because I like the RG Ultra (the looks and better stability on the open road) and also the EG Classic because the handlebars are somewhat closer and I feel better control of the bike. I don't hang out with Harley guys so what kind of bikes are in my circle of friends is not a criterion for me.

But my Harley funds must grow first before I get there.

Yeah, it wasn't a money issue - the RGU was a little bit less, but not by enough to make a difference. I liked them both, but I could only buy one that day. I work with a bunch of Harley guys and ride with them. I ride alone most of the time, though.
