There are HIDs that use the existing reflectors, but have their own bulbs and ballasts, etc. I've not heard of folk on my side of the fence have issues with them not lasting, but vibration isn't an issue either. PIAA makes some nice auxiliary LED lights too. For me, I'd just do the main headlights and call it a day.

But there are lots of variations from that same site: AliExpress.com - shipping takes a long time, but it's a great site for some hard to find things.
my Favorite LED supplier is SuperBrightLEDS.com
and there are a lot others. My wife just shakes her head when she sees me searching
