Norm, do you remember seeing me at the National?
Do I look like a guy who exercises?

This about where it starts... not where it ends. Now Tim... be truthful with yourself. You just want a new bike.... don't you?

Exactly my point Tim. I had some serious lower back problems for about 2-2 1/2 years a number of years back and I had a great sports medicine doctor. he could not find anything that would be considered the smoking gun. He gave me a series of stretching and muscle building exercises and told me to work my back hard, but correctly, don't abuse it.
he said either the strengthened muscles will get you out of pain or it will get worse and we will be able to see what the cause is. Exercise worked for me, but it took quite a while.

Ya know Mike.... if you had my name, you would be Trip Tripp.

Pretty damned excellent, if you asked me.

I got all the suggestions I figured I was going to get and then as always the thread goes off in it's own direction. Not that that is a bad thing. It is pretty entertaining at times.
I ordered a new Santee handlebar and am going to try that. If that dosen't help I will have to admit it is all in my head and take the bars back off the bike and beat my head with then till the pain in my neck and shoulder goes away.
