from watching video several times i believe he was out cold be for crash ever took place . very sad to see a young man die that way.

If you did not notice, in that group of videos there is a slow motion one. Very sad, but unbelievable riding by #46 in getting clear of the accident.

Marco's helmet does come of and he died of unrecoverable injuries. Very sad to loose a young racer so dramatically.
Colon Edwards ( the one who impacted with Marco) has multiple brakes in a bone in his arm and a severed muscle that needs surgery. He was unable to make the funeral for Marco and will not be able to finish the season. At 37 years old I'm wondering if his carreer is over.
I read about this on Monday, but didn't think to post it. Glad usranger74 did.

I heard about that last Monday as well, lousey way to end a racing career.

I watched the race on TV. It was really an incredibly freak occurrance. Apparantly, Marco slid out towards the infield and then it seems the side of his front tire caught traction while sliding and moved him up into the path of the othre bikes.


Very tragic.

I just tried to view the footage again, it would appear that they have removed the film.
