Emergency avoidance situations, any problems?
Constant curving road riding, do the tires heat up beyond their design limits?
Got an open mind about it, just always wondered if it was just money savings driven or if they actually perform well.

There's only 1 answer to all your questions... AMAZING!!! I LOVE my car tire. I'm running a Bridgestone Turanza 195/65-16 and it blows away the comparison of riding on a motorcycle tire.

I've had my reservations about a CT, but you all sound so convincing that maybe I'll give it a go next time.

James, here's a link to youtube showing the system I have, I like it a lot, and it is one of the best safety, and convenience items I've added to the bike. Been using it for 3 years now, and last week, I had to replace the batteries in the senders.

I have 17k on my truck tire and riding to the redwoods and back was smooth. Still almost no wear and really smooths out the rough roads in the north.

Clif, thanks for the link. I saw that one and it is one of the least expensive. I don't like things in my pocket but the reciver could be left in the bags. Would like one of the makes that wires on the bike but I don't realy wamt it in front of me all the time taking up space on the handlebars but would like it easy to read/check during fill ups or regular pre-ride check. So the wireless left in the bag may be the best solution and it's cheaper, what a bounes.

Did you notice any balance issues with the sensors installed? I have Dayna Beads in the tires so they should compensate.

James, I also run Dyna Beads, and have had no issues. I have my keys on it, and I put the keys in my pocket, and just let the receiver hang outside. It is nice to be able to walk up to the bike and see what your pressures are without having to get down, remove a cap, and use a gauge to check the pressures with. Another thing nice about it, as your riding, you can see in real time the pressure rising as the tires heat up. I only check the temps when I stop, but you would be surprised at how much they change. As I stated earlier, the change is much less on the CT than it was when I was running a MC tire.

The Boss Hoss' used to run car tires from the factory but I'd still be a bit uneasy cornering. I don't see how you could get the same traction as a mc tire. On the other hand, I've never ridden a bike with a car tire so my logic could be flawed a bit. :)

:) Have about 1100 miles on my Dunlop SP 5000 and wished I needed a tire sooner. At first it was mushy(33 psi) and when I got to 36 psi it rides beautiful. Almost 100% of my riding is 2-up. Can feel some movement on milled roads but haven't tried dropping psi yet.
