I was thinking of going HoK "Limetime" green in the link below. I don't believe in the bad luck thing either.

Hay, hay, hay, hay! What's all this raggin' on the green Nomads about?
Here's the straight scoop on the Great Green Nomad: No, they really aren't as fast as the black, or the blue or other stock colors, but that's by design - ya see, we have to go just a WEE bit slower so all the other jealous riders and hot babes can have a longer stare as we roll on by! Plus, it's common knowledge they get better gas mileage, have more comfortable seats and break down less! Oh, and they look better in white walls too! You guys that went for the black and blue/silver are really missing out. Can't tell you all the marriage offers I've had since I've own this thing. Everywhere I go - yep - them ladies are all OVER it! Black and Blue/Silver is sooooo 2005. Okay, now that we're clear on that, let's move on... I would LOVE to paint mine white. HD makes a pearl color that is sexy as hell. I would keep my green pinstriping though, to give it a little depth and interest. Plus, if there's green anywhere.. well, see above.

I found my color! In the third group of colors - Shimrin® Metajuls® - MBC04 tinted with KK07 over SG103 - It's the 3rd line of colors, the orange on the right hand side. That's what I want the orange to look like.

Thanks LW, I looked it up - had to do it on my phone, my computer here at work blocks most pics. I like the color he chose, but I think I am looking for a brighter orange that what Ballast used. I do like the way it looks though... gives me an idea of what I'd be doing.

I thought the reason folks had the understanding that white bikes were bad luck was because usually when you get followed by someone on a white bike... You're gonna pay$$$

The white doesn't do much for me, but I really like that orange color. It looks pretty good.

Thanks, Ballast. I do like it. I think I'm looking for something a little brighter though. I'm a huge Oklahoma State fan, so I'm looking for something a little closer to their kind of orange. ;)
I do like your color choice though. It gives me an idea of what I'm looking for. Thanks.

There is a guy around here that has a bright orange bike , It has a Florida Gator theme on it and it looks really nice. I tried to find a pic but came up empty.

I don't think Nightmare is worried about green being bad luck he painted his after hitting a deer on his way home from Custer.
And as far as green being the slowest I don't think you want to try and out run this one.
