The wobble just made the bike seem a little loose. Speed about 80-85

Metzler makes a 150/80R16 71V & 150/80-16 71H. They recommend 150/80-16 bias instead of the radial for 05-08 Nomad's.

Anybody know why?

Hell, I can't even find radials to fit my '04 Nomad. I want radials. Where are you folks finding these?

Hey CQ, I do all my tire business at www.denniskirk.com They will beat anybody's price by $1, if they can look it up on the web. I find the best price I can, and give them a call (# is on wed site) and then it's on it's way to it's new home. They got lots of "goodies".

Hey Dick, the OEM tires are bias ply front and rear. My guess is that the 150/80 bias ply that they recomend is just the one that comes up in the computer when they search their OEM replacement.

I personally don't like to mix radial and bias tires on a bike but many people do with no problem. And given that you are running a CT on the back I think you'd be able to do about what ever you want on the front cause no one is going to have a front MT that they recomend using if your rear is a car tire.

I have just always aired my tires to what is stamped on the sidewall - on my 880's that's 42 psi. The change in handling was significant, going from the 32psi OEM to the Metzler at 42 - quicker response.

Dyna Beads look like a smart option too and will put those on my list for spring.
