synthetic or standard oil?

is the Rotells T 6 a REAL synthetic? They used to sell a synthetic that was a Dino based oil refined so much its DNA was changed buy 1 marker,so legally could be called a Synthetic,,(A GREAT Oil) but had the same results as dino based oil.. faster thermal breakdown etc.... used Mobile 1 10/40 MX4T 8$ a qt so a real synthetic that may save a buck and is a good thing :)
