Glad to hear you made it safely.

If you get the chance... you may want to check out the Louis Villa mansion today as something to do. Even if touring old mansions isn't to your liking... you will enjoy this one. It is in pristine condition with around 90% of the original furnishings.

Also, you could cross the river and go down to McGregor to walk the Main St shops.

Or... you could go to Cabella's and look around for a bit if you are a sportsman.

Just a couple suggestions.

Yep - nice stops for sure. Villa Louis used to be one of our class trips!

Also just across the river and north of McGregor couple miles is Effigy Mounds which is an ancient native american burial area. It's an interesting place, and you get a little walking in.
