Muffler core removal

Hi
Newbie here. All the info I have read seems to concern the 1600 pipes. Anybody try it on a 1500? I don't want to get into it elbow deep and wish I hadn't. Mine is a 2000 FI. I also have a gutted converter that I may or may not put in. I was waiting to do the pipes.

Muffler core removal

Are you talking about the mod BD did and told us about? If so, I did it on my 1500. Doesn't take long as long as your hole saw has the teeth to cut through both of the welds. I had to buy a second hole saw to finish the second pipe but I got er done and love the sound. Go for it!
