4 way flashers - which wires?
need some help,
I built the 4-way flasher set up for the nomad, - can anyone tell me the wire color for the left and right signals under the seat of a 2005. Any help is appreciated! Thanks! Tom Login or Register to Remove Ads |

WOW ... A Psychic! yup... thats how it came to be.. my bike's name is topcat...
I had my mascot painted on my first bike.. not sure the Nomad will get the same treatment just yet! |

The front and rear left turn signal wire is green.
The front and rear right turn signal wire is gray. This is from the service manual for 2005-2008 Nomads. Hope this helps.

topcat59, you can actually access the wiring under the rear fender where it enters the turn signals. If you decide to do this, elevate your bike so you can have some room to work under the rear fender. Very little to remove and no running of the wires all through the bike.

I did install LED lights in the rear as well as the signal conversion kit by electrical connection. at that time i had the whole assembly off.. this time i am installing the flasher and wiring under the seat, so i am going to attach to the wires as they enter the fender there. Thanks to all for the tech help.. it saves a ton of time when you can ask someone who has done it before! Tom |
