Done with Baggers Magazine!

When Baggers 1st came out it was supposed to feature all brands of Bagger motorcycles. Yet as each issue comes out there are less and less Metric bikes. I got the August issue today hoping it would have a ride review of the 1700 Kawasaki line. I mean here is a real factory Bagger to rival the Harley Ultras...and nothing.

Not only that but not a single picture of a Metric in the whole Rag! The only thing other than a Harley was the touring article with a Victory.

We should mass email that Rag and complain.

It doesn't do any good. They are afraid if they started featuring metric bikes, they'd lose their core audience of Harleyheads.

I feel that way about Motorcyclist. Since Catterson took over it's become sport bike world. They already have a sport bike mag, so I don't know what the deal is.

Glad I never subscribed to that one. I figured out after I bought a couple what they were all about, trying to shove Harleys down everyone's throat. I'm a leader, not a follower. I bought what I wanted, not what everyone else wants.

When I get my copy of Motorcyclist I put it in the Men's room at work.

I'm with you Bobzinger. I will not renew my Baggers subscription. I may subscribe to Rider though. Picked up one off the shelf and was reasonably impressed, although I was disappointed to see the Voyager lose out to a BMW for Rider's MC of the year.

My favorites are Rider, Cruiser and Roadbike. Either Cruiser or Roadbike used to have Metric in front of the title but they didn't like the thought of leaving out Harley riders so they changed the name.

Cruiser and Rider I will read. I picked up Bagger and your right their wasn't anything in their I was interested in. I am about to stop watching the Something Thunder TV show on the Speed Channel pretty soon also. Nothing but fancy bikes and Harley/victories. They even got rid of the female host who knew something about bikes for a "Survivor guy, a female country singer and some model they had to teach to ride and doesn't know anything about bikes.

What? No more Michele on American Thunder? Just shows how long it's been since I've seen the show.
