Anybody use this additive in their Nomad yet. You can add it to the gas, oil and rear diff. Reduces friction, increases mpg, doesn't not cause clutch slippage, supposedly great stuff with alot of research done to back it up. the kit cost about $40 at auto parts stores and cheaper on e-bay. Toying with the idea of using it if it won't hurt the bike. One testimonial said his Vulcan went from 35 mpg to 45 mpg after using it a while. Any thoughts from the general population and of course our expert CME??? Thanks!!! :-)

Never heard of it, but it sure has my interest peaked. If I ever got 45mpg, I think I died and went to Nomad Heaven

At $40 a shot you have to weigh the cost against how much you save by upping your milage. I get 40 to 42 now so I think I'm good.

Your gas mileage would have to improve dramatically to make the additive pay for itself. My personal opinion is that I am skeptical of "miracle" additives, and don't put much stock in their claims.

It also keep sludge from building up, they tore down engines after 100,000 miles on it and the parts looked new. they run ads on TV all the time if anybody wants to watch. Its not about better mpg its about preventing wear and tear especially at start up. Updates to follow. :-)

Good point bobzinger. How do you do both? Remember Slick 50 and all the othe snake oils out there?? Whos does the research, the API?? I doubt it.... Self research is just that. Tainted goods. If true it would "revolutionize the oil industry" Something tells me this will sink to the bottom of the snake oil pit like all the others. Al Unser even backed up one of the products and if memory serves me that company got sued and went backrupt.

I'm not too big on additives to oil. I just follow the factory book for oil / fluid changes and leave it alone.
I DO warm the bike before going and don't run it hard for quite a few miles. Just my .02c I get about 40 MPG. But we drive it easy.

I did a big posting on oil somewhere on this site and you'll see my point why motorcycles have a totally different set of hurdles that a car engine does. It would be cool if such a product did exist. I'd buy it for sure doc...
