Chrome dual accessory switch
I've mentioned previously that I have 2 sets of driving lights on my Nomad. They are controlled by 2 toggle switches mounted in my left neck cover. I initially put them there because if I ever wanted to replace the neck cover, it's only a $6 or $7 part. Well, I really don't care for them there. It's not a convenient location and the neck cover is a little too flimsy.
So...I found this switch at Value Accessories and I invested in one. I think it looks much more finished than my dual toggle switches and it just fits between the bar and the clutch reservoir. There's just one problem. The switch assembly is pre-wired with a 3' wiring harness and there's only 4 wires: +12v, -12v or ground, switch "A", switch "B". The switches are rated for 2 amps, which means I can't run my lights directly off the switches, I have to use the switches to control relays. So I will run a wire from my 6-fuse accessory block to the +12v wire on the switch, then use switch "A" and switch "B" to actuate the relays, which will be powered by individual fused connections on my fuse block. It's going to look and work really slick when it's done. I'm looking for suggestions on where to locate the relays, I'd prefer putting them in the front section of the bike. I have no room left behind the left side cover. Would they both fit in the headlight bucket with all the other wiring that's in there? I'm going to have to re-wire some of my accessory wiring, but that's no big deal.

That's a good looking switch assembly!
How about under the triple tree and where the extended fork covers butt up. I put a fused line in there with double sided tape on the fuse. Out of the weather and holding up well. But, I would think there would also be room in the headlight bucket.

That is a slick looking switch. I have one relay mounted inside the head light bucket, and I believe there would be room for another.

I also have a relay in the headlight bucket,, There should be room as stated,, YOU can fab a mounting bracket inside the bucket to hold the relay,, or wire tie it to the harness,,the brackets will provide a NO RATTLE install..............PLUS side to Bucket install NO Condensation, like you may get in the side covers,,,,,,,,,,,Rich

Looks cool Scott.
Are those small LED indicator lights to the right of each switch?

You can fit two relays on top of the battery under the seat. I know that because I have two there.

Wasn't there a member here who installed multiple fuse panels on his Nomad? One up front, one on the left side and one at the rear? Anybody remember who that was?

Looks nice CJ...should be a great addition. As for places for a relay.... like most, in the head light bucket is a great place, but I've also got my horn relay located behind the radiator. There's plenty of room there and it's pretty sheltered from the elements there also. As for who it was with multiple fuse panels, not sure i even heard of that one. I've just got the one under the left side panel.
