Oil Filter Pipe
Finally got around to changing the oil in the 2003 1600 classic and come to find out the oil filter pipe (threaded portion the oil filter screws onto) is chewed up and the new filter does not go on.
Looks like a pipe nipple with no flats; has anybody ever replaced it, is there an internal allen fitting to tighten it, does it bottom out on the case...lots of questions. Parts diagram (32033-1535) says it is a $9 part so I am off to the dealer in the morning to see about ordering it. Login or Register to Remove Ads |
