Final Drive..

Hey. Im finishing up my swing arm maint and Im looking at the final drive spring 92081-1183. Says to install with the small end to the final drive. Damn thing looks the same on both ends. I do however have some yellow paint on one end. I installed the drive with that yellow paint/marking towards the final drive. Is that what the yellow markings are telling me?

Had it all laid out as it came off, but it got bumped and the spring came off.
