Won't remember me

Is there some reason that the forum won't remember my sign in and password? I click the remember me button and it clears it out when I exit the forum. Kind of a pain to have to re-enter the sign on stuff every time and the password is not easily rememberd. I have to look it up every time.

I've also checked the settings in CP but don't see anything in there.
