North to Alaska

Al, thanks for the note, went and found your post. I am planning a trip to Alaska in 2014. Have plenty of flex today so haven't nailed down schedule or Al/Can part of route but know will come from east coast (I'm in North Carolina) to west via Northern Indiana then central Iowa then Boulder CO and angle north west after that. Would be easy to hook up with folks along the way and would be great to have company on ride. I am not a camper, so plan to motel it when ever poss.
