Saddlebags trim / plastic film over strips
I bought me Nomad last year, it is a 2005 model. The guy I bought it from never took off the plastic film that covers the saddlebag trim pieces, the 3 strips on the side.
I have tried, now with being weathered on, waxed over, etc; it's almost like they are a part of the trim pieces. I don't think I'd want to try Goobie Gone, might cause more problems. Does anyone have any idea on what would be a good product to take off the plastic film? I even tried a hair dryer hoping to warm it up and be able to peel off, no go. I get like a millimeter at a time, have to keep picking at it. At that rate, it would take 3 years to get it all off. Any suggestions?
